Diversified Properties Taps Peter Matarazzo as Chief Financial Officer
Montville, N.J. (June 1, 2022) – Diversified Properties, one of the region’s most experienced commercial/residential real estate developers and owners, announces the hiring of Peter Matarazzo as Chief Financial Officer.
In his new role, Matarazzo will work closely with Diversified Properties’ executive team to streamline the firm’s operations and finance departments through the addition of new operational workflow efficiencies, the restructuring of manual processes and improving the adoption of the latest real estate and business technologies.
Prior to joining Diversified Properties, Matarazzo served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller with Arete Management, a New York City-based developer of low-income and affordable housing with a portfolio of 18 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit buildings in New York City and over 80 affordable housing, commercial and mixed-use properties in Hudson, N.Y. Matarazzo presided over all financial reporting items, including monthly closing of books and records, financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP, account reconciliations, investor reporting and tax filings for over 50 entities consisting of development, real estate operations, commercial properties and non-profits.
